Research, Analysis and Technical Support

BCV Solutions has led and participated in a full range of Actuarial Consulting projects in the designing and evaluating of company benefit plans for employers, unions, governments, employees and their representatives. With experience in actuarial methodologies, plan design, administration and examination, our consultants have provided actuarial and risk analysis, expert testimony and advice to varied customers such as, Aetna, CWA, UAW, PriceWaterhouse Coopers, and IBM.

At the US Department of Labor (EBSA), our seniorconsultant was responsible for directing and managing the scope of work and tasks performed by the prime contractor (Mathematica Policy Research, Inc.) on a multi-million dollar inter-Agency filing processing systems Compliance Audit project with the IRS. The BCV Solutions consultant developed functional specifications, designed system edit tests, created outgoing correspondence to the public, and provided technical support and analysis in support of Agency policy objectives while managing high-level coordination on key technical issues among IRS, PBGC and the Social Security Administration.  The success in our management and technical support was formally recognized by the Agency’s  Deputy Assistant Secretary for Program Operations.

Again at the US Department of Labor (OSHA), one of our other senior consultants was tasked with the responsibility to provide Engineering Analysis and manage Technical Documentation related to the issues of workplace and occupational safety and security in the fields of health and field engineering. Our consultant provided exceptional technical support, provided editorial services to a myriad of publications, presentation materials and industry communication.

In corporate or government, BCV Solutions has delivered broad services in Technical and Functional Analysis and Feasibility Studies. We exceeded expectations with our customer who is among the nation’s largest public school systems, when we were tasked to perform extensive Risk Assessments and Business Impact Analysis of several of the school district’s data centers.  For another customer, Lockheed Martin, we performed Systems Requirements and Gap Analyses and presented planning recommendations for Business Process Re-engineering activities. Our consultants have also conducted Economic Feasibility Studies for the Internal Revenue Service, Division of Audit, on issues related to multinational tax compliance with the results of our findings and recommendations presented at an International Tax Conference in Mexico City.  At IBM Corp., we have provided Earned Business Value Analysis, Project Total Ownership, ROI, and Capital Acquisition Evaluations for various corporate and government customers.
